I'll always say it is one.. I mean, i think it has a
christmas song at the end and may have some decorations in
it or something.. but thats about as far as it goes :-) I
mean even the party I believe is some other kinda of party
and not a christmas party, I think it's like a party to
recognize a sale they made or something. cant really
remember.
We just watched it: it's a company Christmas party. The
protagonist has come to town to spend time with his family
over the holidays, his estranged wife is hoping to
reconcile, they play Christmas music in the background
through much of the movie. It'd count it as a Christmas
movie, even if it is an atypical one. --
Other atypical ones if that is your def of a christmas movie:
Catch Me If You Can (2002)
In one scene, Santa is seen as part of a mall setting during a montage
Batman Returns (1992)
Set during Christmas, there's a scene with a person in a Santa suit.
Lethal Weapon (1987)
The movie starts with a shootout at a Christmas tree lot, and Santa imagery appears in the background.
Eyes Wide Shut (1999)
Takes place during the holiday season, with Christmas decorations and Santa imagery in the background.
Iron Man 3 (2013)
Set during the Christmas season, with festive decorations and a Santa reference.
Gremlins (1984)
Occurs around Christmas, with Santa suits and decorations visible.
American Psycho (2000)
Set partly during the holidays, there's a Christmas party with someone dressed as Santa.
