• Empty *.avatars.ini files

From Codefenix@codefenix@CONCHAOS.remove-cmz-this to All on Tue Dec 3 21:38:20 2024
I recently noticed avatars aren't showing up in my message headers like they used do.

I checked /sbbs/data/qnet and noticed that all the ini files modified after 11/20 are tiny in size and contain only the ";updated by" header. 11/20 was the day I upgraded to 3.20a 6d7f85680, so I wonder if something changed in how these files get updated.

Not sure if it would be related, but I also noticed in my Events log that all my ?avatars import timed events are resulting in AVAT-IN FAILED. Any way to determine the reason for the failure?

Now, that you mention it, I'm not seeing avatars of networked-msg-authors either. Hm.

Yeah, apparently there's been a regression of some kind. I'll have to look into that.

Yeah, I see the same. I'll need to add some more detail to that (and possibly other) failure conditions and find out what's going on.

    Thanks for the head's up!
